1.                                Introduction

===============================================================================


After falling into the firey pits of Rondor at the end of the last game, evil
wizard Sordid has returned. He sends a wardrobe into Simon's bedroom on Earth
which transports him back to Sordid's world. Due to an error on Sordid's part,
the wardrobe lands outside his old wizard friend Calypso's shop. Desperate to
return to Earth, Calypso explains that he will need mucusade to enable the
wardrobe to travel. So begins the quest to the top of a castle, on a pirate
ship, over a desert island and finally into the valley of doom itself to find
the item. After finally tracking the item to the Valley of Doom, Simon decides
that before returning home he will once again attempt to defeat Sordid.

CALYPSO'S
---------

The game starts in an alley. Enter Calypso's shop. Get the baseball bat near
the wardrobe and the green dye near the right side of the till. Exit the shop.


STREET OF TRADERS
-----------------

Talk to the ironmonger twice and say "How's the ironmongering trade?". Say "If
you can make it worth my while.". Say "I reckon fifteen.". Say "Exactly one
dollar.". Say "Er... Three I reckon." to receive the crowbar. Walk west and
enter the joke shop. Get the joke book on the counter when the joke seller
wears the gorilla mask. Exit the area.


3 BEARS COTTAGE
---------------

Open the letterbox and get the letter. Exit the area.


LOAN OFFICE
-----------

Give the joke book to the jester to receive the bladder. Enter the loan office
and talk to the secretary. Say "Yeah. I'm interested in a loan.". Say "What
sorts are there?". Select any option and then say that the loan sounds good.
Open the door. Say "I'm interested in the loan.". When he searches for the
form, use the letter on the in-tray. Exit the area.


DOCKS
-----

Talk to Goldilocks behind the crate and keep talking to her until she mentions
the crates. Say "I'll see if I can help you with the crates.". Say "Stay here.
"I'll be back later.". Use the crowbar on the crate. Get the wig and the rubber
dinghy. Walk to the right side of the docks and talk to Um Bongo. Say "You new
around here?". Select any option and he will mention a dance. Exit the
conversation. Exit the area.


TOWN SQUARE
-----------

Talk to the accordion player and one of the dancers sticks will break. Give the
baseball bat to the accordion player to make a poster appear in the street of
traders. Exit the area.


STREET OF TRADERS
-----------------

Get the poster at the left side of the steps. Exit the area.


DOCKS
-----

Give the poster to Um Bongo and he will go to the town square. Exit the area.


TOWN SQUARE
-----------

Talk to Um Bongo at the left side of the area and select any option twice to
give him the bladder.


3 BEARS COTTAGE
---------------

Enter the cottage and walk east to the kitchen. Get the rubber gloves from the
sink. Turn the taps off to exit the cottage. Return to the cottage to talk to
the bears. Say "I've just moved in next door. Can I borrow some porridge?". Say
"Who are you talking about?". Say "What was the question again?". Say "I think
I've got her wig.". Say "D'you mind if I have some of your porridge?" to get
the porridge. Exit the area.


TATTOOIST
---------

Move the ladder. Open the door at the top of the ladder and enter the insane
society. Talk to Frying Pan Man to get a notepad. Use the notepad on Frying Pan
Man and ask say "What is this place - what's going on?". Say "Porridge
wearer?". Say "OK then. I'll just go and get some porridge.". Wear the porridge
to get the junk bag. Exit the area.


MUCSWAMPLINGS
-------------

Talk to the swampling mascot and say "Can I have a voucher as well?" to receive
a balloon and a voucher. Talk to the swampling mascot again and say "D'you know
where I can find the REAL swampling?". Walk west and look at the dustbin to get
the fishing rod. Enter MucSwamplings. Open the junk bag in the inventory to
find a bungee rope, money and wedge. Talk to the waiter and say "Can I use my
Kiddie Meal voucher, please?". Select any flavour milkshake. Say "OK. Here you
are.". Talk to the waiter again and say "Can you tell me where I can find the
swampling?". Say "It was lovely talking to you. Bye.". Try to walk behind the
counter to be stopped by the waiter. Talk to the anorak man and say "You look a
bit down in the dumps.". Say "What do you expect looking like that?". Say "I'd
say you were a lost cause.". Talk to the tattooist and say "Where do you
work?". Open the kiddie meal in the inventory to find the maggot, swamp gum and
swampling model. Exit the area.


STREET OF TRADERS
-----------------

Enter the joke shop twice and talk to the joke seller. Say "Can you make me a
costume?". Say "Can you make me a swampling costume?". Exit the shop and walk
to the right side of the area. Talk to the fat bloke and say "Oh yeah? What
sort of favour?" to travel to the cave.


CAVE
----

Walk to the right side of the cave and get the lamps. Walk to the left side of
the cave and talk to the cave entrance. Walk to the cave entrance to return to
the street of traders.


STREET OF TRADERS
-----------------

Simon will get the cloth from the fat bloke in return for the lamp. Exit the
area.


FOUNTAIN
--------

Use the dye on the fountain. Use the cloth on the basket at the right side of
the fountain. Exit the area and then return. Get the green cloth and exit the
area.


STREET OF TRADERS
-----------------

Enter the joke shop and give the green cloth to the joke seller to receive the
swampling costume. Exit the area.


MUCSWAMPLINGS
-------------

Enter MucSwamplings and wear the swampling costume to walk up the steps. Walk
up the steps on the left to talk to the wampling. Say "I couldn't resist your
lovely stew. Yum, yum.". Say "How could they?!? I thought it was delicious!".
Say "Sounds good to me.". Say "I'll get you some." to get a bucket. Exit the
area.


STREET OF TRADERS
-----------------

Enter the pet shop and say "I thought this was a pet shop?". Say "What do you
think?". Say "OK, so what's going on?". Say "What exactly does it do?". When
the shop owner leaves, get the glow worms. Use the rubber gloves to get the
turtle in the bottom cage. Use the turtle on the empty cage at the right side
of the machine. Use the machine to put the turtle and the eels in the left
cages. Get the turtle from the left cage. Use the glow worms on the empty cage
at the left side of the machine. Move the lever on the machine. Use the machine
and to get the charged glow worms from the right cage. Exit the area.


LOAN OFFICE
-----------

Use the crowbar on the drain cover and enter the sewer. Walk west and use the
glow worms. Continue west and climb up the ladder to enter the swamp.


SWAMP
-----

Walk east and use the bungee rope on the railing. Use the bucket on the mud.
Walk west and use the fishing rod on the lake to get a fish. Walk back through
the sewers and exit the area.


MUCSWAMPLINGS
-------------

Enter MucSwamplings and wear the swampling costume to walk up the steps. Walk
up the steps on the left and give the bucket of mud to the swampling to receive
the swamp stew. Exit the area.


STREET OF TRADERS
-----------------

Enter the joke shop and give the swamp stew to the joke seller to receive a
stink bomb. Exit the area.


MAGIC COMPETITION
-----------------

Try to enter the tent. Say "Go on then." and keep talking to the ticket seller
until he agrees to let Simon enter the competition. Enter the tent and use the
stink bomb to make most of the wizards leave. Return to the tent and use the
swamp shake on the wizard. Get the spell book to win the competition. Exit the
area.


CASTLE
------

Select any option when talking to the guards and then say "But I REALLY need to
get into the castle.". Say "What sort of identification?". Say "Alright, I'll
get your money.". Return to the castle and say "Sure. Here you go.". Walk to
the door to show the ID to the guard. Open the door and enter the castle. Get
the cymbals on the table. Walk west to the throne room. Use the fish on the
seal at the left side of the room to get the royal seal. West. Open the right
door to enter the baby's room. Use the wedge on the cradle. Get the cog,
football rattle and klaxon. Exit the area.


MUCSWAMPLINGS
-------------

Enter MucSwamplings and wear the swampling costume to walk up the steps. Use
the cog on the clock to make the tattooist return to his shop. Exit the area.


TATTOOIST
---------

Open the door to enter the tattooist shop. Say "I want a tattoo done.". Select
any option twice. Simon will get a leaflet before leaving the shop. Exit the
area.


MUCSWAMPLINGS
-------------

Enter MucSwamplings and give the leaflet to the anorak man. Exit the area.


TATTOOIST
---------

Enter the tattooist shop to become the 1000th customer. Say "How about the
jewel encrusted crown and pair of crossed enchanted swords?". Exit the area.


SWAMP
-----

Walk west and talk to the lady of the lake until she mentions the royal seal.
Get the air tanks. Combine the air tanks with the rubber dinghy in the
inventory. Use the rubber dinghy to row to the island. Walk east and get the
sword. Exit the area.


CASTLE
------

Enter the castle and give the sword to the prince to get the pea and the pea
shooter. West. Open the left door and enter the bedroom. Use the pea on the
mattresses to wake the princess. Select any option. Say "Got any ideas about
how to keep the baby quiet?". Get the lolly and exit the room. Exit the area.


MUCSWAMPLINGS
-------------

Enter MucSwamplings and wear the swampling costume to walk up the steps. Walk
up the left steps and say "Who are those two little critters in the corner?".
Say "Sure.". Give the lolly to the baby swamplings to get the milk. Exit the
area.


CASTLE
------

Enter the castle. West. Enter the right room and give the milk to the baby.
Exit the room. West to the throne room. Walk up the steps at the right side of
the room. Use the swamp shake on the pentagram. Exit the area.


STREET OF TRADERS
-----------------

Use the first balloon on the railings. Exit the area.


MUCSWAMPLINGS
-------------

Talk to the swampling mascot and say "Can I have another balloon?". Exit the
area.


STREET OF TRADERS

Walk onto the rug to land in the treasure room. Get the mucusade and then use
the tube to exit the room. Walk to the window to drop down to the front of the
castle. Exit the area.


CALYPSO'S

Simon will board the ship.

Use the spell book to remove the chain. Get the eye patch on the skull. Walk up
the steps to enter the cabin. Get the parrot at the right side of the room.
Look at the diary to get the postcard. West. Open the bottom door at the right
side of the ship. Get the knife from the pillar and use it on the hammock. Get
the tinder box on the shelf above the pirate. Exit the room. Open the door at
the left side of the ship. Talk to the tough looking guy and say "You don't
happen to have a welding torch on you by any chance?" to get the welding torch.
Walk up the steps. Move the pirate with the hammer at the left side of the
ship. Get the nails and Simon will also get the hammer.

Get the plank. Give the eye patch to the pirate with the shades at the right
side of the ship. Use the welding torch on the chain. Use the plank on the
bottom door at the right side of the ship. Use the welding torch on the chain.
Open the door to enter the treasure room and get the mucusade. Climb up the
ladder to return to the deck. Use the rigging to arrive at the crow's nest. Use
the postcard on the telescope. Climb down from the crow's nest. Climb up the
steps at the right side of the ship and use the parrot on the blue parrot. Use
the swamp gum on the red parrot. Walk west to arrive at the island.

Get the shovel. Walk east and get the towel. Walk north to the jungle. Get the
wooden pole. Give the balloon to the kid to receive a shell. East. Combine the
wooden pole with the shovel in the inventory. Use the shovel to dig a hole. Use
the towel on the hole. Use the shell on the towel. Talk to the beachcomber to
tell him about the shell. Get the mucusade from the beachcomber's trolley. Walk
north to the jungle. Walk north to the cave. Get the bottle to talk to the
genie. Say "What is your job, exactly?". Say "I wish I was back at Calypso's
shop.". Exit the cave and get the dog outside the cafe. Continue west to talk
to the dealer. Exit the conversation. Get the whistle on the ground. North.
West. Use the dog on the generator. East. Move the lever on the torture
machine. East. West to the limbo competition.

Talk to the judge and say "OK, then.". Use the whistle to win the competition.
East. Talk to the dealer and select any option. Say "Yo! What's happening, man?
How's it hanging? Word up!". Say "Word, brother. Got any salmon?". Say "I'll
take some.". Say "Right you are then." to buy the caffeine tablets. Talk to the
dealer to receive the caffeine tablets. East. Enter the cafe and talk to the
waitress. Say "Sure. With milk and two sugars.". Talk to the waitress again and
say "I'd really love another cup of de-caf." to get the coffee. Exit the cafe.
Walk east and enter the cave. Combine the caffeine tablets with the coffee in
the inventory. Use the coffee on the bottle and then try to get the bottle to
talk to the genie. Say "I wish I was back at Calypso's shop.". Enter the shop
to travel to the Valley of Doom.

Open the door to get the hairgrip. Exit the area.

------------

Talk to the people in the hut and then close the door. Get the cat, hanky and
three bottles of soda. Open the door and exit the hut.


VOLCANO RIM
-----------

Use the cat on the plants. Combine the drinking straw with the soda in the
inventory and then use the empty bottle on the saliva to get the plant dribble.
Exit the area.


GOBLIN CAMP
-----------

Use the plant dribble on the goblet. Talk to the goblin guards and they will
fall asleep. Get the conch horn above the right guard. West. Talk to the elf
and select any option three times. Say "One would be honoured to assist you, oh
noble elf." to receive a perfume bottle. Enter the big tent and get the food
rations and the pepper. Exit the big tent. West. Use the soda on the fire and
get the stuff. Get the dice. Walk east to return to the elf. Combine the soda
with the perfume bottle in the inventory. Use the pepper on the elf and then
give him the hanky. Give him the perfume bottle to receive the wood. Exit the
area.


DARK WOODS
----------

Give the food rations and the soda to the kid. Get the magnifying glass. Walk
east to the antiques shop to talk to the woodworm until they mention wood. Say
"OK. Here you are." to get the wooden teeth. Continue east and enter the cave.
Give the wooden teeth to the left witch. Give the conch horn to the middle
witch. Give the magnifying glass to the right witch. Use the empty bottle on
the potion in the cauldron. Exit the area.


SECLUDED HUT
------------

Give the potion to the role players. Say "I'll do it." to receive the puppy.
Say "D'you mind if I use my own dice?" to receive the catalogue. Exit the area.


GOBLIN CAMP
-----------

West. West through the skull doorway to the gate. Talk to the pigs and say "I
was admiring the pseudo-gothic architecture.". Say "I've just remembered - I'm
here on important business." to enter the tower.


TOWER
-----

Get the tapestry. North to the eerie passage to meet the monster. East. West.
Use the tapestry on the sweat near the treadmill. Combine the chemical sprayer
with the tapestry in the inventory. Move the lever to turn off the lights.
East. North to the eerie passage. Use the chemical sprayer. Wear the puppy to
transform it into furry shoes. Wear the furry shoes to walk to the other side
of the room. West to arrive in Sordid's room. Get the screwdriver on the table
at the right side of the room. Use the screwdriver on Sordid's hand. Use
Sordid's hand on the palm print identifier. Get the time stick. Walk west to
complete the game.

  Found by giving the swamp stew to the joke seller at the street of traders.
  It is used in the magic competition.


STUFF
  Found after using the soda on the fire in the goblin camp. It is not used.


SWAMP GUM
  Found by opening the kiddie meal. It is used on the red parrot after swapping
  it with the blue parrot on the ship.


SWAMP SHAKE
  Found by giving the voucher to the waiter in MucSwamplings. It is used on the
  remaining wizard in the magic competition after the stink bomb has been used.
  It is used on the pentagram at the top of the castle.


SWAMP STEW
  Found by giving the bucket of mud to the swampling in MucSwamplings. It is
  given to the joke seller at the street of traders to get the stink bomb.


SWAMPLING COSTUME
  Found by giving the green cloth to the joke seller at the street of traders.
  It is worn in MucSwamplings.


SWAMPLING MODEL
  Found by opening the kiddie meal. It is not used.


SWORD
  Found in the rock on the island near the swamp. It is given to the prince in
  the castle to get the pea and the pea shooter.


TAPESTRY
  Found in the tower. It is used on the sweat in the room with the treadmill.
  It is combined with the chemical sprayer in the inventory.


TIME STICK
  Found in Sordid's room in the tower. It is not used.


TINDER BOX
  Found on the shelf in the room with the hammock on the ship. It is not used.


TOOLS
  Found by getting the hammer and nails on the ship. They are automatically
  used when the plank is used on the bottom door at the right side of the ship.


TOWEL
  Found on the beach on the island. It is used on the hole after the shovel has
  been used on the beach.


TURTLE
  Found by using the rubber gloves on the turtle in the pet shop on the street
  of traders. It is used on the empty cage at the right side of the machine.
  After using the machine, the turtle is found in the cage at the left side of
  the machine.


VOUCHER
  Found by talking to the swampling mascot outside MucSwamplings. It is given
  to the waiter in MucSwamplings to get the kiddie meal and the swamp shake.


WEDGE
  Found by opening the junk bag. It is used on the cradle in the castle.


WELDING TORCH
  Found by talking to the tough looking guy about the welding torch on the
  ship. It is used on the chain on the deck of the ship.


WET SUIT
  Found by giving the royal seal to the lady of the lake at the swamp. It is
  not used.


WHISTLE
  Found on the ground near the dealer on the island. It is used on the island
  to win the limbo competition.


WIG
  Found in the crate at the docks. It is shown to the bears in the 3 bears
  cottage.


WOOD
  Found by giving the perfume bottle to the elf in the goblin camp. It is given
  to the woodworm in the dark woods to get the wooden teeth.


WOODEN POLE
  Found in the jungle on the island. It is combined with the shovel in the
  inventory.


WOODEN TEETH
  Found by giving the wood to the woodworm in the dark woods. It is given to
  the left witch in the cave in the dark woods.
